It has been observed that the employees reaction to organizational change are affected by the transformational leaders who are found to foster the readiness of the employees to act in favour of the change and also they help to motivate the employees in support of their change. But there is a gap in the understanding of how the transformational leaders helps in the understanding the motivational aspect of the employees. In order to bridge the gap, a study has been conducted that will help in the better understanding of the different types of aspects of the transformational leadership that are useful in motivating employees for such a change. The present study involved about 328 employees and also the results were dependent on the structural equation modelling for the data analysis. The results revealed that the work engagement and the valence functions as mediators for the transformational leadership and the change in the behavior of the employees during such a change. Research results revealed that the transformational leadership helps in the employee engagement, enhances the interest in the cases of an organizational change by focusing on the positive sides of it.
