Writing Tasks We Help With
What Makes Academic Writing Work
A clear position
Good academic writing answers the question directly. Your thesis statement, usually at the end of the introduction, tells the marker exactly what you will argue. Every paragraph then supports that position.
Paragraphs that do one job
Strong paragraphs open with a topic sentence, bring in evidence, analyse what the evidence shows and link back to the thesis. This pattern, sometimes taught as PEEL, keeps the argument moving and easy to follow.
Evidence that markers trust
Peer-reviewed articles, scholarly books and authoritative reports carry more weight than websites and general news. Our writers search academic databases and choose recent sources unless older classic works are central to the topic.
Accurate referencing
Referencing errors are some of the easiest marks to lose. We use the style your unit requires, whether APA 7th, Harvard, MLA, Chicago or AGLC4. The Monash University citing and referencing guide and the Cite Them Right guide used by many UK universities are helpful resources, and our Harvard referencing generator can format your own sources.
Writing in Australian and British English
Australian and UK universities expect the same core spelling: organise, analyse, behaviour and colour, not the American forms. Our writers follow these conventions by default and handle the small differences, such as "program" for software in Australia, and UK conventions like single quotation marks in many style guides. If your unit asks for American English, they switch.
How Writing Help Works
Upload your question, rubric, any set readings and your tutor's past feedback if you have it. Tell us the word count, referencing style and deadline. Your writer plans the argument, researches and drafts it, then edits for clarity and checks every reference. Work is delivered with a free originality report, and changes are free for 15 days.
Learning to Write Better
A model essay is most useful when you study how it works: how the introduction sets up the argument, how each paragraph uses its evidence and how transitions link ideas. Our fair use policy explains how to use model writing responsibly.
